The Work

The main effort of the work is with one and one discipleship which was developed by Larry L.  Niemeyer.  Larry has also written several books available on Amazon.  Click here to see what they are.  His vision for relationship based based on the the Gospel of God’s indwelling LIFE in our Life has taken Kenya by storm, spread to India, New Zealand, and even USA.  It is this simple concept of the example of Christ sharing His LIFE with us, walking with people through Life, that has shaped our concept of missions.  It is even now playing itself out in phase two of our work, teaching people filled with LIFE how to be examples of LIFE in Life in their communities, being LIGHT and SALT to a world in need of both.  To be the leaves of the tree dwelling on the banks of the River flowing from the throne, bringing healing to the Nations.

The goal of our second phase work is to provide opportunities to show Christ's love through being a force of community transformation.  In addition to provide opportunities for Disciples to develop relationships in their communities which will become discipleship relationships.  We call this Legacy Community Consultancy.  Click here to go to the site.

The Three Levels of Discipleship

1.  Disciple - In Matthew 28, Jesus tells his disciples, “Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  The command?  Make Disciples.  Why?  because I am with you.  This is not a promise.  It is instead a cause and effect issue not an if - then statement.  Since Jesus is with us, we disciple.  This is what we do.  We disciple.

2.  Multiply - Discipling also involves training others who have been discipled how to disciple others themselves. This is the 2nd level of discipleship training.  The Key Word in all of this is TRAINING.  Paul repeatedly likens living the Christian LIFE to training and running a race.  At every level training is the foundational action.  We train to train so that they can train.  The purpose of this multiplication is to begin a movement of disciples who are discipling others.

3.  Release -  The next level is to not only release people into ministry with accountably, but also to train people how to release those they have trained so ministry multiplies.  All of this includes training in appropriate accountability through the creation of Discipleship Networks.
Is there more that we do?

There is much more that we are involved in, Community Health Evangelism, Bible Studies, Small group leadership, and more as time goes on.  However, all of this is to search and to invite people into a discipleship relationship with Jesus.  .
